Statement:
“Every captain needs a navigator.” You know where you want to go, but it’s my job to help get you there. I believe proper risk management and sound technical analysis will help you identify and avoid many pitfalls inherent in futures trading. As the markets themselves are constantly evolving, you need someone who can identify changing trends before they adversely impact your plan. Contact me and ask for a trial-run of my commodity market newsletter, something my clients gain insights from every week.
Industry Background:
I began my investment career as an assistant to several full-time commodity futures brokers, and have concentrated on commodities from day one. I soon found myself running a national futures trading desk for a major bank, and eventually left to be an integral part in the formation of a new FCM. For the past decade I have dedicated my experience to helping clients directly as a full service account executive for MF Global Canada, and now as a Lind Plus Market Strategist.
Market Focus:
Currencies, interest rates, metals, grains, soft products and livestocks.
Analysis Preference:
Technical with fundamental support.
Technical Study Background:
Moving averages, relative strength index, trendlines, channels, momentum, volume and open interest studies.
Advisory Background:
Larry Williams, Resource Trader Alert, Ken Roberts, Jim Rogers, Hightower, Moore Research
Trading Strategies:
Using moving average crossovers, individually adjusted to different market types with recent high/low breakouts for entry and exit signals. RSI, volume and fundamental confirmations applied for portfolio weighting.
